Hellebore is one of the most beautiful plants associated with witchcraft and is sacred to Hecate. This is in part due to the flower's winter bloom time, as opposed to the common spring and summer bloom schedule. There are various types of hellebore (ours is H. orientalis), but all are extremely toxic and potentially fatal; even false hellebores are toxic.
This oil is best known for use in curing "madness," and devil possession, as well as infusing other plants with its poisonous nature if planted by them, which would then be used for curses. It's advised to simply place a droplet in a wide-based candle for safest use. Do not ingest or touch this oil, as symptoms of poisoning can include rashes, blisters, numbness and tingling in the extremeties touched, as well as vomiting and nausea, heart rhythm issues, difficulty breating and fatality. Do not burn. This item is best as a curiosity item and, if used, handled with extreme care.
Our .5 oz bottles include fractionated coconut oil and true bronzed hellebore leaves. Do not ingest. Fragrance or essential oils are included. Store in a cool place not exposed to heat or direct sunlight for ideal shelf life. Stored in this manner, it will last around six months (but we recommend you use it sooner).
