Our Practical Magic Collection of witchy goodies includes our Gillian Ritual Oil, which invokes the headstrong qualities particularly found in Gillian Owens: confidence, loyalty, strength, free-spiritedness and independence. We invoke these qualities by using the Owens' love for green magic; our oil includes poppy, copper shavings, ivy, cat's claw and damiana.
We would use this oil much as we do our other spell oils: to anoint candles and ritual tools, or to anoint the self, in spells related to sex, love, confidence, free-spiritedness, courage, bravery or elemental (fire) magic. We use fractionated coconut oil, a carrier oil that doesn't encourage any lingering oiliness. We also keep the plant blends in the bottle for continued infusion and aesthetics. However, all natural things sour, so please use within six months and store in a dark, cool space.
