Our Practical Magic Collection naturally features the Sally Ritual Oil. This spell oil invokes Sally's earthy nature of practicality, groundedness and objectivity, and it calls to her natural witchcraft with the fern, a classic plant in green witchery that's long been associated with witches and sorcery. It's the perfect blend of herbal and plant correspondences for incorporating more earthen energy into your elemental magic, or for simply conjuring the intentions above in love, cleansing and healing spells.

We would use this oil much as we do others: to invoke the energies of the plants therein, ones that correspond to Sally and her nature, through candle anointment or tool consecration, and through burning on a charcoal disk. We can also use it to draw digils or symbols by placing little droplets in the desired shape, particularly in protection magic.

The oil is made from fractionated coconut oil, an oil that doesn't linger on you or your tools. We also keep the same plants in the bottle for continued infusion and aesthetics. However, all natural things go rancid, so please store your oil in a cool place not exposed to heat or direct sunlight. We suggest using your oil within six months.

The Sally Oil includes fern, sweet annie, ivy and verbena. As always, be careful when in contact with herbs. While we use quality sources for our herbal inclusions, skin irritation from a particular plant is always a possibility.
