We look at divination, protection, and love magick through this lens, focusing on the tools and correspondences from make-do Cabin Magick. The six-page lesson offers you a full divination ritual and money ritual, as well as spells and charms for the above intentions, and information on powders and mixtures. It was originally featured in our Summer Magick course.

Please note: This primer by no means covers the nuance and beauty of the magick in this expansive region. It is nuanced and rich with history, exploitation, resourcefulness, ruggedness and power. Sarah's experience with this folk magick is informed by her own practice and research, as well as her paternal familial ties with the Appalachian region, namely that of her great grandparents, grandmother and grandfather, aunts and father in Kentucky.
