Carry Hecate's sacred secret garden around your neck with our Dark Arts Poison Pendant, part of our Poison Collection. The talisman is a moody collection of hellebore and monkshood, both infamous in herbal lore.
Monkshood is a sacred herb to Hecate and one not used lightheartedly. Also called aconite or wolfsbane, monkshood was given as a "death drink" to prisoners in antiquity. It's known for its fierce protection and the (possible) ability to make the wearer invisible.
Hellebore is also sacred to Hecate, but it's a vital herb to hold, as hellebore manifests the practitioner's power while keeping the practitioner from descending into madness. It is highly toxic and is an abrotifacient.
Each pendant uses an antiqued bronze blank and chain, each measuring 18 inches long with an adjustable chain attached. Herbs are encapsulated in resin. The end feel is a light pendant with heavy, deep intention.
Supplement your Poison Pendant with The Forbiddens, a secret garden of five oils, each containing a toxic herbal legend: wormwood, foxglove, poppy, monkshood and hellebore. The Forbiddens is located in our Poison Collection and in our Kits section.
